    Position Title: Project Controls Manager
    Job Description
    The position is accountable for the performance of the project controls discipline. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and procedures estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.
    Job Responsibilities


    • Oversee the project's, cost controls, change management, risk management, earned value, and scheduling efforts


    • Drive effective execution of project control functions on various capital projects.


    • Evaluate project health status and maintain effective communication with project leadership


    • Ensure that project controls systems and processes are implemented and continue to deliver accurate project status.


    • Evaluate project contracts and commercial terms to ensure that the project controls processes are aligned to address any specific needs.


    • Interdisciplinary communications with engineering, construction, and procurement to coordinate project activities and inputs.


    • External communications with client, subcontractors, and joint venture partners for coordination on data integration and reporting.


    • Review and audit cost, progress and schedule reports that are prepared in regards to project controls.


      Job Qualifications


      • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or similar)


      • 15+ years of experience in Project controls.


      • Preferred active PMP and/or AACE Certification or the interest/ability to achieve these certifications


      • Proficiency\ in, project health assessments, cost analysis, forecasting, budget development, P6 and scheduling techniques and variance reporting techniques.


      • Experience in managing analytical and data-centric project controls.


      • Advanced skills with reporting through Microsoft Power BI.


      • Must be able to self-lead and communicate effectively to all levels of project team, including management and clients.
