Job Summary In this role you'll contribute to project management efforts as a part of the WM's Innovation and Business Optimization organization. You will conduct Project process planning, execution, through completion of small to medium sized business projects. You will work on custom software development projects, implementation of out of the box solutions, and enhancement to existing software. Drives communication of project status with senior levels of leadership to align business optimization initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities Drives project activities through SDLC effectively applying various methodologies and standards to ensure quality and success of on time, budget and delivery of projects. Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops schedules, and determines and acquires resource allocation. Communicates business case to project team to assist with decision making and prioritization; keeps business case at fore-front to drive decisions. Acts as liaison between stakeholders and Senior Leadership on project status, issues, and risks. Creates, manages, and maintains project plans and ensures effective financial forecasting and tracking. Interfaces with other technology and business organizations to reach agreement on scope, obtain resources and ensure proper preparedness. Reviews and evaluates quality, timeliness and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Collaborates with the business on systems strategy, requirements, designing prototyping, testing, training, procedures, and implementing solutions. Presents effectively to senior levels within the organization including technical and non-technical audiences, Senior Leadership. Liaisons with business units to partner on project scope, risk mitigation and issue resolution. Understands all aspects of the IT Governance and reporting. Provides project planning, budgeting, contract management and procurement partnership. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree (accredited), in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience. 3+ years of Project Management experience. B. Preferred Experience 3+ years experience as a Project Manager. Agile, PMBOK, and Waterfall methodologies. Project experience with system integration, microservices, CICD, cloud or mobile development PMP or CSM Certifications.
