Sanitation ManagerWe are hiring a Sanitation Manager to engage and lead our sanitation team members and all activities necessary for the cleaning and sanitizing of our production and packaging equipment and the dry storage areas, in multiple facilities, while ensuring that all duties are performed in accordance with USDA (U.S. Department of Ag), SSOP (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures), HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points), FDA (Food & Drug Administration), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).What you will get from us:Opportunity to work on existing, strategic projects in partnership with key leaders and showcase your creative, communication and technical skillsA culture focused on ensuring the health, safety and well-being of its employeesSupport and mentorship from team members who are authentic, good-natured and highly skilledCompetitive wages, incentive pay and a comprehensive package of benefitsResponsibilities:Responsible for the effective utilization of employees skills, development, quality, housekeeping, safety, utilization of required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), policy administration, employee relations, scheduling, cost control, and coordination of all sanitation activities with multiple crews in multiple facilitiesThe use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including but not limited to bump cap, safety glasses / goggles, face shield, face mask, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves and safety shoes or rubber boatsConfer with multiple production departments to schedule sanitizing and cleaning assignments, responding to reports of sanitation problems and USDA and FDA issues, and monitor sanitation performance as needed to verify guidelines and procedures costing specifications and system dataPrepare and compile required company and government reports within required deadlines and retain as required for production and food safety audits required in food manufacturingInvestigates ways to reduce, waste downtime and improve equipment and employee utilization in our continuous efforts to improve processes utilized; presents proposals to Manager for review and approvalManages, trains and develops subordinatesQualifications:Bachelor s degree or equivalentMinimum 5 years related experienceFood Manufacturing experience and working knowledge of SSOP, USDA, FDA, HACCP, and GMPUnderstands and complies with company and federal regulations and proceduresBasic skills in the generation of data from electronic general ledger systems such as SAPGood mechanical aptitudeEffective management abilitiesAbility to add subtract multiply and divideAbility to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceEffective communication skills**If you d like to hear more about this opportunity and others we are currently working on, please contact Jeff Fee at jfee cps4jobs.comJO: 339.23JF#LI-JF1
