Title: Operations Manager
Location: Houston, TX (preferred), Phoenix, AZ or Kansas City,
KS
Schedule: M-F Days
Travel: 50% first Quarter in role - -25% after that
Compensation: Market competitive base salary, depends on
experience, plus discretionary bonus.

Position Description: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the
Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and
optimizing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency,
productivity, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will
have 8-10 years of experience in operations management, with a
proven track record of implementing strategic initiatives and
driving measurable operational excellence.
--- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to
develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations and
achieve business objectives.
--- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in
operational processes and implement solutions to enhance
efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
--- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the operations
team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and
continuous improvement.
--- Performance Management: Establish performance metrics and KPIs
to track the effectiveness of operations and develop action plans
to address any performance gaps.
--- Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively to ensure
optimal utilization and allocation of manpower, equipment, and
materials.
--- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes and
standards to ensure that products and services meet or exceed
customer expectations.
--- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory
requirements, industry standards, and company policies and
procedures.
--- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop
strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the continuity of operations
and minimizing disruptions.
--- Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget,
monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost
savings.
Requirements:
--- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations
management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
--- 8-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably
in services or consulting.
--- Proven track record of continuous improvement and successfully
leading and managing operations teams.
--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to identify and address operational challenges.
--- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
--- Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve operational
excellence in a fast-paced environment.
--- Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with ERP systems
or other operational software.
--- Certification in operations management or related field (e.g.,
Lean Six Sigma, Lean Management) is a plus.
--- Possesses a "run to the fire" attitude
