Manager, Accounting Policy oversees the accounting policy function
for the company. The manager will provide consultation and guidance
to our business units on all accounting policy issues including
interpretation and application of new accounting standards,
guidance on application of existing policies and advising on
accounting implications of strategic transactions. Responsibilities
May Include Acting as a point of contact for all major accounting
policy issues. Reviewing SEC disclosures. Providing advice and
supporting for major transactions (i.e. Mergers and Acquisitions).
Leading teams in the implementation of new accounting
pronouncements. Managing new GAAP projects. Leading due diligence
efforts for new JV investment agreements. Maintaining accounting
thresholds and make necessary recommendations to senior leadership.
Reviewing and approving 10-k and 10-Q information provided to
External Reporting. Overseeing the SOX coordination function for
the company. Handing other special projects, as required. Position
Requirements BasicRequired: Legally authorized to work in the job
posting country Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 15 or
more years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role
Preferred: Certified Public Accountant Big 4 Public Accounting
(audit experience) Effective collaboration and teamwork Strong
skills such as Data Analytics, Excel, SAP, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
Broad understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to lead a team or participate in a team in a collaborative
manner Excellent analytical skills with ability to review complex
processes and controls Excellent written and oral communication and
influence skills Ability to progress multiple tasks concurrently
