world. -The IHC department is part of the Antibody Validation Group
whose primary responsibility is to ensure that our antibodies meet
the highest quality standards. -You will work with cutting edge
whole-slide imaging instruments and become an integral member of

You Will Do
- Execute testing according to strategy and priority set by
supervisor and Director.
- Manually perform high volume immunohistochemical (IHC) staining
runs for screening monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies for utility
in IHC.
- Assist in the operation of whole slide imaging instrumentation
for both brightfield and fluorescent stained slides (Vectra
Polaris, 3DHistech P250).
- Perform titration experiments to determine optimal
concentration of antibodies used -as controls and determine
suitability for use. -
- Perform immunostaining procedures for multiplex IHC assays
under the direction of supervisor. -
- Perform established digital image analysis routines for IHC and
multiplex IHC.
- Assist with R&D and special projects. -
- Adhere to approved methods and strict methodologies. -
- Perform procedures according to established standard operating
procedures (SOPs) and/or work instructions (WIs).
- Perform established digital image analysis routines, annotate
-images, -and record results.
- Perform H&E staining on tissue blocks to determine fit for
use and assist -maintain tissue block database. -
- Assist is making buffers and other chemical reagents as needed.

- Perform other tasks as assigned by management, which may not be
listed above, that are necessary to accomplish our goal of
improving lives by supporting scientific discovery. -Who You Are &
What You BringKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, Preferred educational,
and experiential background:
- Associate degree in relevant scientific field or equivalent
work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory setting.
Academic experience may substitute in some situations. -
- The ability to learn and to be coached for new skill
development.
- In depth knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office
programs. -
- Knowledge of python or R is a bonus. -
- Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume
work environment.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues clearly and effectively.
