Quality Improvement (QI) program is straightforward: improved
quality of care and service for Members utilizing evidence-based
best practices. - The Senior Clinical Quality Analyst is a key
member of the Quality Management and Improvement (QMI) Department
within the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan (IBHP) and has
responsibility for supporting all quality management and peer
review functions in accordance with policy and NCQA standards.
-They work in conjunction with the Quality Manager and the Medical
Director in the coordination, implementation, and management of
quality functions. - The Senior Clinical Quality Analyst will
coordinate all aspects of Performance Improvement Projects in
accordance with CMS EQR protocols. This position supports the
development of the Annual Quality Work Plan, the Annual Quality
Evaluation, the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI)
Program Description, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
This position coordinates the QAPI Committee meetings. This
position is a key contributor to the External Quality Review (EQR)
process. The Senior Clinical Quality Analyst will support the QMI
Department's administrative processes as related to implementing
inpatient services to the IBHP. The Senior Clinical Quality Analyst
must abide by State and federal governmental regulatory
requirements and contracted IBHP requirements. The Senior Clinical
Quality Analyst will support developing and implementing various
process improvement initiatives as initiated by the Quality
Manager. **This position will work in the office in Boise, Idaho
which utilizes a Hybrid Work Model approach which requires working
in the office approximately three days a week and the opportunity
to work from home two days a week. ** If you are located in ID, you
will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough
challenges. - Primary Responsibilities:
- Compile and prepare outlines and initial drafts of the Annual
Quality Work Plan, the Annual Quality Evaluation, and the Quality
Assurance Performance Improvement Program Description
- Subject matter expert regarding the Performance Improvement
Projects process
- Coordinate, submit and track National Committee Quality
Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation requirements
- Analyze Performance Measures data to identify trends, risks and
opportunities
- Support the External Quality Review Performance Improvement
Projects protocol development
- Analysis of Population and program data to identify trends,
risks and opportunities
- Analysis of Member Satisfaction Survey data
- Support the Quality Manager in preparation for Quality
Improvement Committee meetings
- Preparation of State Reports
- Performs customer service tasks by managing internal & external
customer requests -
- Ability to analyze aggregate data and report on data as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of health care experience
- 1+ years of experience developing and implementing performance
improvement projects or using data to develop intervention
strategies to improve outcomes
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present data
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this
