be able to independently administer and interpret routine and
special diagnostic tests in an expedient and professional manner.
The candidate should also be able to effectively collaborate with
referring physicians and other professionals to provide optimum
care for each patient. Kelsey-Seybold Speech Pathologist doctors
treat children, adolescents, and adults at Kelsey-Seybold's Main
Campus location and at neighborhood clinics throughout Houston.
Responsibilities include: Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work
to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social
communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in
children and adults. Assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent
communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. SLPs
will work as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, which
may physicians, audiologists, and ENT physicians.
