We are on the lookout for a remarkable and enthusiastic Licensed Surgical Assistant to provide invaluable assistance to surgeons in the Sugar Land area and neighboring cities. Candidate Must be available at least 3 of the days from Monday-Thursday every week. Compensation will depend on availability and call status. Responsibilities:
--- Assist surgeons in various surgical specialties
--- Meet patient in the Pre-Op area
--- Help transfer patients to and from the OR table
--- Assist OR staff with positioning, prepping, and draping patient
--- Excellent exposure for surgeon, including retraction, suction and any means to increase visibility to surgeon
--- Exceeds at suturing subcutaneous tissue and skin
--- Collect Facesheet & documentation
--- Submit documentation to our office in a timely manner
--- Take call, rotating with colleagues
--- Attend our business meetings
--- Participate in Team building meetings

Qualifications:
Requirements:
--- Licensed Surgical Assistant in Texas
--- Take call 1 night a week and 1 weekend a month
--- Flexible availability for work hours with a typical schedule of 7 am - 4 pm
--- Available at least 3 days between Monday-Thursday
--- Experience in OB-GYN and General surgery

Preferred:
--- Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, and Vascular experience
