Pediatric Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at UT Health Science Center. As a Pediatric CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing services by administering anesthesia to pediatric patients under the age of 18.Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients under the age of 18
• Monitor patients' vital signs and bodily functions during medical or surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the anesthesia team to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to the specific needs of each pediatric patient
• Provide clinical supervision or guidance of nurse anesthesia students, paramedical, and medical students
• Respond to emergency situationsRequirements:
  • Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Current Texas Licensure as APRN
  • Current American Association of Nurse Anesthetist certification (AANA)
  • BLS, ACLS and/or other specialty certification as required by departmentPreferred Qualifications:
    • Experienced in a major medical center or a major trauma receiving hospital
    • Skilled in administration of varied regional anesthesia techniques, i.e., spinal, epidurals, brachial plexus blocks
    • Skilled in the placement of arterial lines, CVP, and PA lines, and is capable in the use and interpretation of varied pressure monitoring and lab valuesWhat We Offer:
