Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Position: MRI Tech – Mids Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Shift: Monday–Friday, 3 PM – 11 PM Float Requirements: Units with similar skillsets On Call/Call Back: To be discussed with hiring manager Weekend/Holiday Requirements: N/A Location: Galveston, TX Certifications Required (attach upon submittal): ARRT-MR (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – MRI) or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) AHA BLS Minimum Experience Required: 2 years Proficient in advanced interventional cases MR diagnostic cases for: Head Cardiac Prostate Breast Charting System: EPIC (highly preferred) Job Summary: To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of MRI equipment for producing cross-sectional images of the patient’s body for diagnostic purposes.
