Job Description Responsibilities Responsibilities: - Provides diagnostic test to individuals in all age categories including geriatric, adult, and adolescents to aid in diagnosing disease processes - Performs duties in accordance with that of hospital policies and procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines - Maintains patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adherence to department policies, and effective communication with physicians, staff and patients - Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test - Displays professional, safe conduct in all interactions Qualifications Required Education & Experience: - Degree from accredited Echocardiography Program - (3) Three years of patient care work experience Required Licensure: - BLS-CPR Overview Echo Technologist I St. Joseph Health – Bryan/College Station, Navasota, Caldwell, Madisonville, TX.
