Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARMRIT certification and BLS for a 13-week acute care assignment. Responsibilities - Work in an acute care main MRI department - Day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - Call rotation is one week per month, Monday to Monday, with overnight and weekend coverage required - Holiday coverage and shift coverage during call-ins on weekends are required - MRI scanners include Philips 1.5T & 3T, and Siemens 1.5T (coming June 2025) - Uses Epic EMR system - Occasional call backs average 2-4 times per month - Monthly parking is available with daily rates starting at $15 and monthly passes ranging from $95 to $120 - Returning candidates must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year unless PRN through an outside firm - Scrub color requirements not specified Requirements - Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required - Current BLS and ARMRIT certification required - Professionally certified MRI Technologist (ARMRIT), AMRIT accepted - Familiarity with Philips MRI systems required; Siemens experience preferred - Active state or compact licensure required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted - Copy of driver’s license required for consideration - Two professional references required (one supervisor reference from past 12 months, one peer or supervisor from past 3 years, must include employment dates and rehire eligibility) Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614127.
