want your knowledge and expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications
This position requires competence in assessment, treatment, and/or
care for the age groups indicated. The skills and knowledge needed
to provide such care may be gained through education, training, or
experience. - Assists in the maintenance of all equipment in the
department, including cleaning and minor repairs. - Facilitates
departmental operations through completion of all patient logs,
charge requisitions, and other paper work, either through the
computer system or via a manual system. - Maintains safety
precautions to minimize radiation exposure to patients, other
personnel, and self. - Participates in quality control and
performance improvement activities within the department. -
Participates in rotating call system to provide continuous
availability of services. - Performs other related duties as
assigned. - Posses knowledge of the PACS system, appreciates the
overall image distribution concept for PACS. - Performs exam
monitoring and patient information management. - Prepares patients
appropriately for roentgenographic examination and fluoroscopy
procedures as prescribed by patients' physician, in the department
and in surgery or the Pain Management area. - Sets both mobile and
stationary equipment for use. What qualifications you will need: -
BCLS, Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiology
Technology. - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30
days of employment start date - (RT) Radiologic
