TravelNurseSource is working with Compunnel Healthcare to find a
qualified Rehab RN in Houston, Texas, 77001! Number of Beds – 20
private beds Number of Staff – 18 RN FTE (total staff with therapy
and nursing is ~60) Type of staff: 1 CNC, 2-3 RNs, 1-2 CNAs for day
and night o Night Shift - same Patient Ratios – 5:1 on average with
sometimes 6:1 if short. Type of equipment – standard nursing
equipment plus rehab equipment for transfers, etc. EMR - Meditech 5

Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills
will not be considered for the role. · Start/stop IVs, wound care,
telemetry, Foley care, and standard Medsurg unit nursing skills are
a must · Medication pass Preferred or nice to have : candidates
with these skills will be considered first. · Prior Inpatient Rehab
Facility or Skilled Nursing Unit experience List typical procedures
performed on unit(s): · Mobilization of patients to bathrooms,
dressing, out of bed mobility. · Daily medication distribution,
education on medication reconciliation, nursing care for DC home
