Highlights No call, no weekends; Monday to Friday only Full-time, 40-hour workweek; 4x10s available IMLC Psychiatrists welcome Potential to transition to permanent after 6 months Practice Setting Correctional health within secure facilities Adult male patients only Mid-level psychiatric support staff In-person and telepsych options available in Austin and Houston Schedule Weekdays only, 6:30a-3p or 9:30a-6p 4x10s possible at most locations Full-time candidates only Cases and Procedures Psychiatric, physical, and neuro exams Medication and admission due process Forensic experience preferred but not required Requirements Board Certified in Psychiatry Active Texas license or IMLC LOQ BLS, DEA, and clean background required Travel Accommodations All-inclusive rate; travel/lodging not reimbursed separately Now interviewing for early 2026 starts; reach out to explore scheduling options across multiple Texas locations.
