Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a premier health system in Texas, is seeking a
dedicated and skilled Supplemental MRI Technologist to join our
team. This position requires the individual to perform high-quality
MRI scans according to the protocols and standards set by our
health system. The ideal candidate will aid in diagnosing and
treating a wide range of conditions, ensuring patient comfort and
safety while operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment. Your
role is pivotal in supporting our mission to advance health and
provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Operate MRI equipment to create diagnostic images according to the
specified protocols. Ensure the safety of patients by following
strict procedural protocols and checking contraindications for MRI
procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate
findings to the radiologist. Manage scheduling and patient flow to
maximize efficiency in the MRI suite. Perform regular maintenance
checks on MRI equipment to ensure optimal functionality and
compliance with safety standards. Provide support and reassurance
to patients, explaining procedures and answering any questions to
alleviate anxiety. Proficient in MRI software and operation of MRI
equipment. Strong understanding of radiology protocols and anatomy.
Excellent patient management skills to enhance comfort and safety.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical
environment. Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Valid
state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
