SUMMARY The Post-Master’s LPC-Associate Fellow is responsible for
applying the knowledge, skills and perspective of Licensed
Professional Counselor Associate to the services provided by The
Menninger Clinic, including, but not limited to, diagnosis,
treatment, consultation, education, research and administration.
Annual Salary: $50,000/yr, position is hourly Benefits:
Medical/dental/vision, 403(b) retirement, PTO KEY FUNCTIONS 1.
Compliance with policies and procedures of the Menninger Clinic and
its Corporate Compliance Committee, the standards of the Joint
Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and
other medical records and legal requirements. Maintains compliance
with Menninger Clinic policies and procedures Documentation and
billing procedures are consistent with Corporate Compliance policy
Medical records are completed in timely fashion 2. Perform initial
assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy,
vocational therapy, case coordination and discharge planning
services in collaboration with interprofessional treatment team for
assigned caseload. Provides initial assessment and treatment as
needed Provides discharge-planning services as needed Provides
individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and vocational
therapy as assigned 3. Provide and participate in appropriate
training and/or research opportunities Attends and utilizes weekly
supervision with a board approved Licensed Professional Counselor -
Supervisor Attends monthly discipline(s) meeting Completes approved
fellowship project by the conclusion of the fellowship year
Participates in didactic courses 4. Serves as a Post-Master’s
LPC-Associate Fellow with rotations through continuum of care as
assigned by LPC Training Coordinator Reviews of performance and
evaluation 5. Meet competency criteria established for specific
treatment modalities (competency criteria attached): Diagnosis and
Assessment Individual Therapy Group Therapy Family Therapy
Vocational Therapy Other – Specify 6. Demonstrates an understanding
of developmental tasks, diversity equity and inclusion, and the
ability to establish rapport with and provide treatment for:
Children/Adolescents Adults Geriatrics
EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Completion of Master’s
degree (preferably from a CA-CREP accredited program) Must be
currently working toward becoming Licensed Professional Counselor –
Associate in the state of Texas License to operate a motor vehicle
