Job Description Job Description RN - Cath Lab Location: Houston, TX Starting Rate: $60.00/hour (based on experience) Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM On-Call Requirement: Rotating schedule (1 weekend every 6 weeks; 4-5 weekday call shifts during a 6-week period) Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking an experienced RN - Cath Lab to support a high-acuity cardiac catheterization laboratory within a leading healthcare facility in Houston. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Cath Lab RN who thrives in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional cardiovascular patient care. Responsibilities Provide nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Assist physicians during procedures including PCI, IABP, Impella, OCT, and IVUS Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and patient responses during procedures Administer medications, moderate sedation, and contrast agents per protocol Prepare patients pre-procedure and provide post-procedure recovery and monitoring Operate and document procedures using EPIC and Mac-Lab systems Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call rotations as required Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience Active Texas RN License BLS and ACLS certifications required Proficiency with EPIC and Mac-Lab Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic monitoring Hands-on experience with IABP, Impella, OCT, and IVUS Ability to meet 30-minute on-call response time from the facility Why Join Us?
