Job Description Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a local
contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in
Houston, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med
Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 52 weeks
- 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type:
Local Contract • No floating. • Self-scheduling, however, VA will
modify the schedule at its discretion. • Schedule finalized 30 days
in advance. Qualifications: • Current, unrestricted RN license in
any U.S. State or Territory • Graduate of an accredited nursing
program (ACEN or CCNE) • Minimum of 2 years of recent medical
surgical hospital experience within the last 5 years • BLS
certification - AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA) ONLY Preferred:/n•
Experience in VA or federal healthcare settings/n• Familiarity with
electronic medical record systems (VistA/CPRS)/n• Excellent
