Registered Nurse (RN) | Dialysis Location: Bryan, TX Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,868 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified Dialysis RN in Bryan, Texas, 77801! ID: 75964139 Shift: 12H Days Rotating 7a and 11a starts, EOW, required call Description: Unit Sol prescreensCandidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.Special Information: -Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination-May be asked to precept, as needed by the unit-First to Float between Bryan and College Station campus (16 minutes apart) as neededUnitDialysis BedsDIalysis Ratios2:1 and 1:1 treatmentsRequired certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSSCommon diagnoses/Types of patientsESRD, acute renal failure. Will treat in the acute hemodialysis suite and in the ICU 1:1; Peritoneal dialysis patientsExperience or 'Must have' skills: General ACUTE CARE DIALYSIS nursing competencies; AVF/AVG cannulation, CVC access, recognition and management of hemodialysis complications and emergencies; peritoneal dialysis site care and catheter care; peritoneal dialysis initiation and terminationAre RNs required to titrate drips?HeparinCommon titratable &/or set rate dripsSet rate only: amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinoneAre there tele/monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?Patients are on a tele monitor in the acute suite with Monitor tech reading strips. In the ICU they are on bedside and central monitoringCharge Nurse/House Supervisor?
