Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a leader in Texas healthcare renowned for

experienced Senior Histology Technician to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will use advanced technical skills to prepare
histological slides from tissue sections for microscopic
examination and diagnosis by pathologists. This is a critical
position that supports our commitment to clinical excellence and
innovative healthcare solutions. Prepare histological slides from
tissue sections for microscopic examination. Ensure tissue
processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and coverslipping are
performed according to established protocols. Maintain and operate
histology laboratory equipment with precision. Implement quality
control procedures to meet the highest standards of accuracy.
Collaborate with pathologists to ensure precise and timely results.
Supervise and mentor junior technicians and lab assistants. Manage
pathology supplies inventory and ensure compliance with safety
regulations. Advanced knowledge in histological techniques and
tissue handling. Proficient in using histology laboratory equipment
and software. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain high standards of lab safety and cleanliness.

Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is highly preferred.
