Job Description Overview An established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Dayton, TX is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join their outpatient-only team. This is an excellent opportunity for providers passionate about serving underserved and uninsured communities in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. Practice Highlights • 100% outpatient setting – no inpatient responsibilities • Patient volume: ~18–20 patients per day • Flexible schedule options: - Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (includes one half-day admin) - Optional 4-day workweek (8 AM–6 PM) • Telephone call only, shared among 13 providers (approx. 1 week every 12–13 weeks) • Minimal weekend coverage: one Saturday (8 AM–12 PM) every 10–12 weeks Candidate Requirements • Board Certified or Board Eligible (Family Medicine; must obtain certification within 2 years) • Active or eligible Texas medical license • Residents and J1/H1B visa candidates are welcome to apply • Commitment to community-based healthcare and underserved populations Schedule & Coverage • Outpatient only – no inpatient or OB responsibilities • Monday–Friday or optional 4-day workweek • Telephone call rotation approximately every 12–13 weeks • Weekend: one half-day shift every 10–12 weeks Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance • Visa sponsorship available (J1/H1B) – legal fees covered • FTCA malpractice coverage provided • Comprehensive benefits package including health, PTO, and retirement Why Dayton, TX?
