Cath Lab Tech Location: Houston, TX Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $2,400 to $2,500 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Cath Lab Technologist | Houston, TX | Contract We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-acuity cardiac team in Houston . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center with a high-volume, multi-specialty cardiac program. Position Details Title: Cath Lab Technologist Location: Houston 77030-2604 Shift: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM (4 days/week) Employment Type: Contract Call Requirement: 4–5 call shifts per month 1 weekend per month Minimum 3 days/month on-call Facility Highlights 719-bed Level I Trauma Center 11 Cath/EP/IR Labs High-volume unit with 40–50 cases per day EMR: EPIC Key Responsibilities Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, EP, and IR procedures Prepare and maintain sterile field during procedures Operate and maintain cardiac imaging and monitoring equipment Monitor patient condition throughout procedures Ensure compliance with safety and procedural protocols Requirements RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) via CCI – Required BLS Certification – Required CVT or relevant Cath Lab experience – Required Experience with EP, IR, and Cath Lab cases – Preferred Work Environment Fast-paced, high-acuity procedural setting Exposure to complex cardiac and vascular cases Collaborative team including physicians, nurses, and techs ?
