to change DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDisplay
excellent customer service to internal and external customers
within the service line. Contribute to the vision, operational
goals, and outcomes of the branch. Perform professional customer
service inquiries related to the implementation of policies and
procedures in the assigned service line. Prepare, schedule, and
maintain itineraries, programs, and agendas. Assist in planning and
implementing department sponsored activities and programs. Respond
to written emails and telephone inquiries from the general public
and elected officials. Draft correspondences, create reports and
maintain electronic and hard copies of files. Maintain and track
visitor log and electronically file on a monthly basis. Oversee
building gate access and operate gate call box. WORKING
CONDITIONSThe position is physically comfortable most of the time
with occasional periods of stooping, and/or light lifting of
materials of up to 10 pounds.This is a Houston Public Works
Emergency Management position at the Tier III Level.
