Job Description PS Companies is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Galveston, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel PS Companies is seeking an experienced IR Tech for an opening based in Galveston, TX. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position. Shift Requirements: 8-hour shifts. Monday - Friday, 7:30a – 4p Float Requirements: units alike skillset On Call/Call Back Requirements: Every 5th week and runs from Thursday – Friday, including weekends Equipment you will be using: o/tUltrasonographic units of various vendors o/tFluoroscopic units of various vendors o/tCT equipment of various vendors o/tElectronic Health Record o/tPACS Working environment: •/tMay be exposed to such occupational hazards as communicable disease, blood borne pathogens, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, hazardous medications and disoriented or combative patients or others. •/tMust be able to push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds. •/tMust be able to walk long distances. •/tMust be able to stand for a continuous 240 minutes at a time. Requirements include, but are not limited to: ARRT License TX MRT (Medical Board Certification) 3 years IR Tech experience Level I or II Trauma experience BLS (AHA) Certification ACLS (AHA) Certification PALS (AHA) Certification Ability to clear a drug screen/background check.
