Job Description:

OVERVIEWThe Payroll Coordinator role will perform all functions related to payroll tasks including but not limited to the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for our organization of approximately 700 employees.Location: Corporate Office non-remotePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary focus is processing weekly payrolls for all entities.
  • Follows checklists for processing payroll and all ancillary duties associated with payroll; keeps checklists up to date, constantly and consistently.
  • Editing of time transactions, i.e.: missing or incorrect punches, sick/vacation.
  • Complete payroll maintenance including, merit increases, organizational changes, etc.
  • Prepares reports: earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages, as well as all payroll reports for reporting to Executives and Accounting departments.
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  • Comply with Court Orders, Garnishments, Tax Liens, Wage and Hour Laws, IRS Regulations.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
    • 1-2 years of payroll experience. Hospitality payroll, a plus.
    • Ability to demonstrate and support Goode Companys mission, values, and culture.
    • Advanced skills relating to all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Advanced skills with HRIS systems, i.e., Paycom, or any other payroll systems.
    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
    • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
    • Must possess exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
    • Must have considerable analytic skills and be detail oriented.
    • Ability to maintain a pleasant disposition in high volume, fast-paced work environment.
    • Ability to work well independently, as well as a vital member of a team.
    • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
    • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug test.
