Responsibilities: Assist with posting, interviewing, recruitment, termination process Assist with the daily operations of the Human Resources functionsDemonstrate attention to detail and excellent work ethicsEnsure timely and accurate processing and maintenance of employee recordsEnsure compliance of policies, F/S laws and regulationsConduct onboarding, orientation and benefits administrationManage the ATS and ADP systemsComplete data entry related to employee personal information, payroll processing, benefits administration, and audit all entries for accuracyCreate and submit bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly HR/Payroll and attendance reportsCommunicate and administer Leave of Absence policies and procedures, distribute required paperwork, provide FMLA information to eligible associates, andupdate employment status in our HCM systemAdhere to the Standard of Appearance and handbook policiesMaintain an open-door policy and respond to employee concerns in a timely mannerEnsure compliance training and certifications are currentManage a confidential and accurate filing system Demonstrate respect for the privacy of all employeesCoordinate employee relations events and activities Maintain spreadsheets and logs of all required training and permitsAct as liaison between employees and insurance providersPractice and enforce the hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of ServiceAdhere to the hotel Standard of Appearance and handbook policiesDemonstrate passion for job and empathy for peopleExemplify the culture of Hotel Granduca through conduct and behaviorAssist with payroll audit and investigationsConduct Exit InterviewsEnsure work area is maintained in a neat, tidy and organized mannerAssist with W/C, TWC and Benefits administrationMaintain compliance with I-9 recordsManage bulletin boards and other forms of communicationPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years' experience as HR Coordinator in a full service luxury hotelExcellent communication and presentation skillsBilingual in English/Spanish preferredAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsExperience with new hire onboardng, ADP and ATS systemsAbility to juggle multiple, but equally important priorities in a timely fashionAn approachable, professional, calm and cordial demeanorExcellent work ethics with a focus on guest and employee confidentialityExcellent email and telephone etiquette and interpersonal skillsProficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, PublisherExcellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to handle emergency situations while meeting timelinesProven ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid and accurate conclusionsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issues based on factsAbility to work Monday to Friday - may be required to work additional hours for employee eventsHotel Granduca is an equal opportunity employer.We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.
