Job Description:
Overview Are you looking to grow, learn, and contribute your
skills within Human Resources? We are searching for a Human
Resources Generalist that will provide professional level support
in all areas related to Human Resources for our Central region,
including responsibilities in the following functional areas:
Employee Relations, Compliance, Performance Management, Onboarding,
Payroll and Benefits Administration. This position reports directly
to the Human Resources Manager. About Us Triple S Steel is a
general line service center with special emphasis in the
construction markets. Our roots are in Houston, but over the last
50 years our business has taken us throughout North America,
Central and South America and Asia. From a small family retail
operation, our business has grown to where we sell over 500,000
tons per year. Our family of companies include: Beshert Steel, Tube
Supply, and Intsel Steel to name a few. But we haven't forgotten
where we came from or that we're still a family business. While we

for someone who Must have 4-6 years' of Human Resources experience
Is detail oriented, organized, able to work in fast-paced
environment. Adapts to business priorities that change quickly. Is
able to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions and shifting
priorities. Must be able to demonstrate problem solving abilities,
decisiveness, and flexibility. Must have strong teamwork mentality.
Ability to work independently and employ effective time management
skills. Has experience in the following systems: ADP Workforce Now,
Kronos Workforce Central, iCIMS, and Microsoft tools (preferred).
Bilingual - Spanish (preferred). Has the ability to handle very
sensitive information in a discreet, confidential manner. What will
you do? Recruiting Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of
qualified job applicants for open positions Collaborate with
departmental managers to understand skills and competencies
required for openings Employee Relations Coordinate employee
relations issues with HR Manager to ensure prompt and appropriate
resolution Lead investigations and make recommendations based on
the results of your findings Attend and participates in employee
disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations Leadership
and Development Lead a variety of HR processes, including
performance management, staffing, training initiatives,
compensation, career development, employee relations, and HR policy
development Participate in developing department goals, objectives
and systems Assist in the development and implementation of
personnel policies and procedures; maintains employee handbook and
policies and procedures manual Drive continuous improvement by
evaluating existing processes and focusing on improvement of tools,
digitization, process controls, and increasing the overall
efficiency of the HR function Administration Maintain human
resource information system records and compiles reports from the
database. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local
employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices;
reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance Maintain
knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new
technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment
law Assist in the administration of various human resource programs
for designated sites. Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience:
