        This position is responsible performing a wide range of HR duties related to the hiring process including recruiting, job posting, sourcing candidates, interviewing, crafting compensation and offer documents and running background screenings as well as maintaining employee data integrity, crafting job descriptions, maintaining policies and procedures and related HR projects.

        Essential Functions

        • Provides support to field locations for the job sourcing and hiring process, answering questions, and guiding managers and candidates through onboarding from applicant to hire.
        • Sources new applicants for hiring managers, using pre-employment screening and assessment tools to reduce both time-to-hire and turnover.
        • Assists with internal employee changes, crafting applicable paperwork and compensation documents and obtaining appropriate approval from leadership.
        • Audits integrity of employee data with HR and recruitment system.
        • Processes and adjudicates results of pre-employment screenings, working with company legal counsel when appropriate.
        • Crafts pre-employment sales compensation outlines in accordance with position and familiarity with company sales plans.
        • Assists with corporate development projects, acquisition work and onboarding new hires on location.
        • Assists hiring managers with I-9 compliance, eVerify submission and Social Security Checks through BSO.
        • Orders and Manages Labor Law Posters, ensuring compliance with state and federal posting requirements.
        • Tracks and implements any state and federal minimum wage increases throughout the year.
        • Aids in the development of job descriptions; performs job analysis and evaluation and maintenance of the compensations structure.
        • Maintains employee compliance in FLSA testing of new positions and verifies existing positions are in line with current exemption levels.
        • Provides assistance in the development of job descriptions; perform job analysis and evaluation and maintenance of the compensation structure.
        • Ensures regulatory compliance with all employee-related federal and state regulations.
        • Assists in various departmental projects.
        • Performs other duties as assigned.

            Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

            • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in human resource management or related field or equivalent level of experience, training and education.
            • PHR or SHRM certified professional preferred.
            • Minimum of three years of experience at a management or senior administrative level with emphasis on employee/labor relations.
            • Valid state issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

              Additional Eligibility Qualifications

              • Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.
              • Knowledge of immigration laws and processes.
              • Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements.
              • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) preferred
              • Maintains a positive attitude and working environment through organization and communication.
              • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, prioritizes tasks, and exercise good judgment.
              • Detail oriented and ability to work in a team setting.
              • Ability to meet daily deadlines, perform tasks in a timely manner, be a self-starter and resolve issues with minimal supervision.

                Supervisory Responsibility

                This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

                • The duties associated with this position are generally performed in an indoor office setting.
                • Equipment used to perform the essential function of this position includes, but is not limited to computer, fax, copier, merchant terminal, multi-line phone system, personal or company owned vehicle.
                • Employees in this role are regularly required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift to 25 pounds.
                • This position may also require reaching, pushing, and pulling.
                • This position may also be exposed to chemicals and/ or blood borne pathogens. Exposure risk is considered: Low
                • Overtime is sometimes necessary or required.


                  • This position requires 10 percent out of area and overnight travel
                  • Travel is primarily local occurring during the business day only.
