Armory provides easy-to-use continuous deployment solutions that eliminate the need to migrate away from existing tools, minimizing disruption to an existing software delivery lifecycle. With Armory, developers can easily and declaratively deploy new versions alongside live versions, incrementally scale up new versions, enable manual reviews prior to scaling up, effortlessly rollback to an old version, and, manage the deployment across multiple targets and environments; continuously improving and protecting their customer experience. We are growing our technical enablement team and are looking for someone who can help us create clear, correct, and easy to use documentation and enablement for all our products. You will be a part of a diverse team where customer success, empathy, and experimentation are core values. This is a fully remote position. You must be located in the United States, Canada, or Costa Rica. You Will--- Make Armory products easy to understand by creating helpful, accurate, well-organized, consistent, and effective content Ensure that existing content is up-to-date and accurate Manage content updates across products and releases Actively participate in agile development and represent the interests of our users through documentation and technical enablement Gain a deep understanding of the products and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve the user experience Collaborate with internal stakeholders to keep our documentation and technical enablement current, effective, and user-centric Collaborate with and edit content for other uses, such as blogs, marketing content, etc. Build strong cross-functional relationships to uncover ways to help our customers succeed Have a role in how products are built Be a strong customer advocate to improve user experiences You Have--- 3 years of writing SEO-optimized technical content for developer, sysadmin, or DevOps audiences The ability to quickly learn complex concepts and technologies with minimal guidance and clearly explain them to others within the target audience's context Excellent content planning and organizational skills The ability to self-start and work independently on multiple projects at once The ability to coordinate across teams and functional areas in a fast-paced startup environment Strong written and verbal English language skills Excellent interpersonal skills Experience with docs-as-code in an Agile development environment The ability to write and review content to ensure that it is the correct voice and adheres to identified style guides Proficiency in Markdown, HTML, Git, GitHub, and Linux Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Go, Java, Python, cURL, JSON, YAML, and CSS Knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud providers such as AWS, GPC, and Azure Bonus points for Experience with Hugo, Docsy, Spinnaker, OpenAPI/Swagger, Elastic AppSearch Web development experience Software development experience Practical knowledge of deployment strategies (canary, blue/green, rolling, progressive) Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes) Practical understanding of what it takes to operate applications at scale Why join Armory?
