Job DescriptionJob Title:CRM Administrator I Type:Contract Industry:TechnicalLocation:Houston, TXExperience:Minimum 2 years experience Job Description:Provide continued support to colleagues, CRM developers, and users. Gathers and drafts business requirements, tests enhancements, documents processes, assists IT with releases into production. Develops user and CRM System training materials and job aids. Administers the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, SalesForce. Documents data and process flow as well as data owners. Ensure captured data is clean, accurate and relevant. Recommends system, process, training, and job aids improvements. Job Responsibilities may include:

Maintain user profiles including but not limited to add new users, amend existing accounts, validate system permissions, restrict and open up data access, and maintain role hierarchies. Remove duplicate accounts and contracts by merging, mass updates, or importing data. Facilitate data uploads and interfaces by validating data and ensure captured data is clean, accurate, and relevant. Create and maintain menus, Picklist Values, amend Page Layouts, assignment or validation rules, customize objects or fields, and similar system requirements. Build Reports and dashboards within CRM and Excel. Build ad-hoc reporting requests. Maintain reports to ensure efforts are not duplicated and report variations do not grow unnecessarily. Manage ongoing system developments by communicating with users and colleagues regarding new developments, support etc. Gather user and department system business needs. Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRD) for enhancements, configuration, & development; work with Information Technology department to refine BRD. As system enhancements or releases are developed, schedule and test usability and functionality against BRD expectations and provide feedback to IT.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues as they arise. Other responsibilities as requested. Requirements:
    • Valid Drivers licenseEducation:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Information Systems Certification
        • Salesforce Administration certification or pursuing Experience:
          • At least two (2) years' Salesforce system administrator experienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
            • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (intermediate/advanced), Power Point and Outlook
            • SQL skills
            • Ability to develop custom sales and marketing analytics
            • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
            • Highly analytical and detail oriented
            • Ability to communicate complex ideas across functions and levels of the organization
            • Adept at handling multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines; ability to adapt shifting priorities
            • Self-starter with a positive attitude; technologically savvy with good people skillsWorking a number of evenings every month to maintain software during off-peak usage
