Title:Flight Software Integration Engineer (Supporting NASA)Title: Artemis/ISS Flight Software Integration Engineer (Supporting NASA)Join our space exploration team as we take the next giant leap making history by going back to the moon and beyond to deep-space destinations. The successful candidate selected for this position will be expected to perform the tasks associated the Flight Production and Test Office (CK4) and will provide technical integration across all the Flight Operations Directorate (FOD) for software-related products that are delivered in support of upcoming flights, software transitions, On-Orbit Replaceable Unit (ORU) activations, and increments.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Support Avionics and Software Boards, Panels, and Working Groups as assigned, including Avionics and Software Control Board, Software Change Schedule and Release Panel, and Software Product Development Team WorkingDevelop FOD integrated software product schedules that plan activities such as:Operational Readiness Test (ORTs) quantities and associated test windowsCommon Display Development Team (CDDT) certification process milestonesSoftware transition test windowsSoftware patch test windowsCommand Build activity milestonesStation Program Note (SPN) milestonesOperations Readiness Reviews (ORR)Provide Flight Production management for Development Programs such as Artemis and CST-100Integrate schedules for product deliveries to meet testing, training, and operations needsProvide support as a Software Test Integration Engineer, as needed.This task requires coordination and management of Software Tests across all the Flight Operations Directorate (FOD).Coordinating resource scheduling and test objectives for various types of software testing for the ISS. Some examples include:Software transition testingVisiting Vehicle End to End testingCommand Build activitiesOperational Readiness Tests (ORTs)Crew and Ground Display CertificationCoordinate resource scheduling and test objectives for FOD testing supporting Development programs, such as Artemis and CST-100.Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical/aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering plus 3-4 years of desired NASA experience to include working/negotiating with multiple customers.Experience working with internal and external NASA customer and ISS International Partners is a plus. Attention to detail is required along with the ability to work/negotiate with multiple customers across NASA, ISS International Partners, and other customers daily.This position requires strict adherence to deadlines as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.A high level of proficiency using Excel is highly desired.Experience integrating across multiple areas, leading teams, negotiating win-win solutions, working well in the team environment, and customer service is required.Experience in Flight Control is a plus, but not required.
