Responsibilities
Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Software Lead ( Remote- United States) within our ALI Americas group. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced individual for Software Lead development position, to work on our industry leading engineering analysis solutions. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and participate in various projects while working independently and operating with good communication and interpersonal skills.
In this position you will actively contribute to a development team or project, maintaining the quality of technical deliverables. You will also participate in the end-to-end development product life cycle including requirements analysis and design through deployment and verification using automated tests. You will analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed as well as write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
You will be working in a Scrum team environment with a talented group of professional software developers. You will be expected to work collaboratively with your team members, your manager, and your product owner. Interaction with members of the quality assurance, support, and documentation groups is also occasionally required. This work requires critical analytical thinking, logic, the use of independent judgment, and the ability to apply software principles in the solution of programming problems. A proven ability to mentor younger developers is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (engineering) with 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
  
• Good working knowledge of Object Orientated Design/Programming and Data Structures
  
• Programming experience in either C++, C#, .NET core framework is required.
  
• Some prior experience working with Fortran code is a plus.
  
• Experience in front end development such as MFC, WPF and MVVM
  
• Experience working in software development conforming to quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASME NQA-1 or equivalent is a plus
  
• Experience or exposure to computer graphics and database applications is valuable
  
• A record of software design achievements and the ability to learn software architecture skills
  
• Experience with Azure DevOps, MS TFS, continuous integration, and -delivery (CI/CD) and TDD
  
• Familiarity with Scrum development process and working in a team environment
  
• A passion for learning new technologies, and a desire for personal growth, through self-study, formal classes, or on-the-job training
  
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player, self-driven, and proactive
