We work together to enhance peoples' lives through our products and presence in the communities in which we operate.---SUMMARYAssists in implementation, design, configuration, and support related to our internal and external websites and collaboration solutions. - Works with a team of Business Analysts to gather and organize business requirements, analyze data requirements, perform systems analysis and design activities. Supports systems development, testing, and delivery efforts.This individual will be a talented SharePoint/Nintex developer to create customized SharePoint solutions for Westlake. As a SharePoint/Nintex developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff. The SharePoint Developer will work closely with the Administrator Principal-Systems to identify and improve SharePoint's reliability, architect projects, do cross developer code reviews, define and implement development standards. Adhering to Microsoft best Practices.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with other Business Analysts and functional users to gather and document functional requirements.
  • Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
  • Setting tasks and development goals.
  • Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
  • Developing new web components using XML, JSON, .NET, SQL, and C#, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
  • Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
  • Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
  • Proficient with developing, supporting and debugging Nintex Forms and Workflows.
  • Understanding and customizing SharePoint Master Pages.
  • Testing and debugging code.
  • Reviewing website interface and software stability.
  • Troubleshooting software issues.
  • Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
  • Providing technical documentation and training to staff and customers.
  • Performs analysis and design activities for applications to be delivered.
  • Analyzes data needs and create data models for applications.
  • Assists with quality assurance efforts by creating and executing test and deployment plans.
  • Assist in creating user documentation for applications.
  • Design and configure automated business process workflow.
  • Assists in system signoff and all other change management requirements.
  • Researches and resolves help desk issues that relate to the core applications independently or through collaboration with other Business Analysts.
  • Develop and provide training.
  • Modifies and/or enhances applications following established methodology.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
  • Provide quality assurance support during and after implementation.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Fully supports Company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management as well as active participation on project teams.
  • Any additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • College Degree or 3 years equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline. - Bachelor's degree in IT related field of study required preferred.
    • 3 years' experience as a business and/or project analyst with SharePoint or other applications highly preferred.
    • Prior experience in business analysis, project management, quality assurance and implementation of applications or applications development highly preferred.
    • SharePoint developer certification.
    • Previous experience as a SharePoint/Nintex developer.
    • Working knowledge of Active Directory.
    • Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows including services and registry.
    • Extensive knowledge of PowerShell, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
    • Familiarity with SP2016, SP2019 O365, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
    • High-level coding skills spanning servers, web services, middleware, web applications and mobile apps.
    • Understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling.
    • Understanding of process modelling.
    • Ability to solve complex software issues.
    • Ability to project manage multiple projects.
    • Understanding of business processes and automated workflow.
    • Experience with web collaboration solutions preferred. (i.e. Microsoft SharePoint, Google Sites/Drive, Skype/Jabber, etc.)
    • Comfortable with the following technology concepts: web site navigation, application and web site security, web browsers, and databases.
    • Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Experience reading technical documents.
    • Detail orientated.
    • Self-motivated.
    • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
