JD: Test Lead
Position description Purpose
The Test Manager supports the project teams by enabling Application
Testing, and implementing group best practices Test processes and
practices.
The Test Lead role in the delivery organization works closely with
Project manager to ensure that disciplined application testing and
reporting are aligned to project delivery.
The purpose of Test Lead is to provide testing services for
Enterprise-wide SAP and non-SAP applications. The services are
critical to ensure defects are detected upfront during testing and
to ensure only quality deliverables are moved to the production
box.
The Test Manager is responsible for creating the Test Strategy.
Position description Accountabilities
Accountabilities : The Test Manager reports directly to Capability
Lead - Testing and is responsible for delivering test activities
directly to the project/ project support team
Key Responsibilities include:
As a Test Manager you will be responsible to plan and undertake
end-to-end test activities such as test effort estimation, test
planning, defect management
Work collaboratively with SMEs, Solutions Architects and Design
Authorities in project to assess test scenarios and provide test
requirements based on risk-based testing methodology.
Test Manager to have a check on different phases of Testing,
timelines and scoping for Testing
Align on Entry-Exit criteria for each testing phases with
Developers, BA and Business Users in accordance with
Project/Program Manager
Able to work with testing tools such ALM, VSTS as Test Management
tools
Participate in improvement initiatives.
Managing entire testing team to drive the testing activities to
ensure there are no defects before production go live
Daily status and daily defect triage discussions with stakeholders
and PM
