Position: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Houston, Texas 77077 Duration: 6+ months Job Summary: The Cyber Security Engineer selects, engineers and supports the endpoint security solutions deployed onto digital workloads, be them on prem or in the cloud. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: - Primary focus will be supporting our container security solutions - Provide auxiliary support for other endpoint security solutions (encryption, malware protection tools, privileged access) - Possesses detailed knowledge of IT infrastructure and understands the interdependencies of aggregate parts - Manages projects from their inception to service management - Define, formalize, engineer endpoint security solutions to mitigate exposures - Coordinate testing and deployment of these solutions with IT Infrastructure and Commercialization teams Review, update, coordinate validation and publish endpoint security standards - Contribute to the deployment of DevSecOps automation for the product teams - Supports the design, implementation and deployment of container security for IIoT - Contribute to POC evaluations for new cutting edge security tools - Support deployed security solutions in operations - Perform tech watch for new cybersecurity techniques and technologies Previous Experience and Competencies: - Significant technical understanding and experience, ideally as administrator, of Windows and Linux Operating Systems and their associated security related requirements, - Experience in Containers configuration, management, deployment - being familiar with Twistlock Management and Administration (container security software) would be a plus - A moderate understanding of Privileged Account Management solutions Behaviour: - Ability to manage vendor support relationships and act as a technical liaison - Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects - Demonstrated ability to lead team efforts and can stand in for departmental manager - Ability to properly handle confidential information and personnel-related matters - Understands the business impact of decisions on operations - Prepares and delivers formal presentations to large groups - Ability to reconcile competing demands between conflicting interests and priorities - Comfortable with defending a position to upper management - Ability to work well with all levels of the company - Ability to work independently on projects - Understands when group support and feedback is needed Thanks Johnsi Lakshmi Mahendran Technical Recruiter, Centralized Recruiting Digital Intelligence Systems (DISYS) Phone: 214-254-4234 -m Email:johnsi.mahendran@disys.com For any feedback Have your say @ - provided by Dice
