Job Description:
Job Description GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB Responsible for the
proper receiving, weighting, handling, location and issuing of raw
and finished materials and supplies. Maintain proper stock
inventories involving raw and finished materials. Record all
transactions in QAD computer software. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES • Receiving incoming raw and finished materials
and supplies and store in assigned storage locations, assign
storage locations to new items. • Responsible for accurate
reporting inventory materials. • By a specified time period (i.e.,
3 months to six months), the ICD Clerk will complete the necessary
training and obtain any required certification to operate a
forklift in the warehouse. • Will become proficient in
participating and completing the construction of boxes on a box
making machine in the warehouse, including but not limited to any
activities to complete the manufacture of the boxes and lift them
off the machine. • Must be able to operate handheld computer
devices that are necessary to be efficient in the operations of the
warehouse, after appropriate training. • Check finished and raw
stock inventories to determine proper counts. • Sort, count, and
weigh material as required. • Record part number, quantity,
location and other required data on QAD or Inventory Forms.
Transfer materials to manufacturing. • Alert supervisor of any
serious discrepancies or imbalances in existing inventory figures.
• Detect and report to supervisor defective materials and supplies,
and questionable conditions. Maintain work area and equipment in a
clean and orderly condition. • Follow prescribed safety
regulations. • Create inspection records and certification
documents for customers. • Perform other related duties assigned by
Supervisor. The above description covers the most significant
duties performed but does not exclude other occasional work

Experience LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents
such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine work
orders and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before
employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and
subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and
100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American
money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to read
a tape measure. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations. OTHER SKILLS AND
ABILITIES Operate a variety of hand, precision measuring
instruments, and power tools. Must be able to drive a forklift and
be computer literate. This job will dictate the use of QAD, ELO, MS
Outlook, Fortis, Lotus Notes, Barcode Scanners, and Nuclear
Analyzers (Deer Park only). OTHER QUALIFICATIONS None required.

requires walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to use proper lifting
techniques to assist with lifting over 50 pounds. Use and operate
dollies and carts for lifting/moving heavy items. May occasionally
