Job Description Job Description Position summary 10-4 Logistics
USA seeks an experienced CDL-A flatbed truck driver to operate
scheduled regional routes with regular weekly home time. The truck
driver will haul steel, pipe, and other flatbed freight and must
demonstrate proficiency with tarping, chains, binders, and load
securement procedures. This opportunity emphasizes safety,
professionalism, and reliable on-time service. Compensation &
bonuses Pay: 27% of each load (average estimated annual earnings
$76,440 - $87,360 ). Paid weekly via direct deposit. Sign-on bonus:
$5,000 paid as $1,500 after first load , $1,500 at 6 months , and
$2,000 at 1 year (eligibility rules apply). Tarp pay: $40 per load.
Detention: $16 per hour after 2 hours. Layover and breakdown pay:
$100 per day for layover and $100 per day for breakdown. Per diem:
$300 weekly non-taxed per diem. Equipment Tractors: 2023
Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth T680; automatic transmissions
(drivers with automatic restriction acceptable). Fleet age: Average
under 3 years; assigned tractor may remain attached to trailer.
Onboard amenities: 1500W inverter and bunk heater provided;
tractors governed to 65 MPH. Freight & lanes Primary freight:
Flatbed freight including steel and pipe. Regional lanes: Average
2,000–2,500 miles per week. Tarping: Approximately 40–50% of loads
require tarping. Hazardous materials: 0% hazardous materials. Home
time Typical home time: Weekly home time (home on weekends based on
34-hour reset). Primary responsibilities Truck driver will safely
operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT
regulations and company policy. Truck driver will transport flatbed
freight according to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring
securement of steel, pipe, and other cargo. Truck driver will
perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly
report defects or maintenance needs. Truck driver will correctly
apply tarps, chains, straps, and binders and verify load securement
before departure and after moves. Truck driver will maintain
accurate logs, inspection records, and required documentation in
accordance with regulatory and company standards. Truck driver will
communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customers
regarding schedule changes, delays, or incidents. Truck driver will
report accidents, safety issues, or compliance concerns immediately
and cooperate with incident reviews. Minimum requirements License:
Valid CDL-A. Minimum age: 22. Experience: At least one year of OTR
experience covering a minimum of three states plus six months of
flatbed experience within the last five years; no training-only
applicants. Truck driver applicants must demonstrate experience
with steel and pipe loads and competency with straps, tarps,
chains, and binders. Maximum three moving violations in the past
three years; maximum one major violation in the past three years.
No more than one DOT-preventable accident in the past year. No
pending legal cases; recent DUIs generally disqualify (older than
five years may be considered). Must meet DOT medical and regulatory
requirements and pass a urine drug screen. About the employer 10-4
