TECHNICIAN Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm $17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assemble, repackage, and inspect inflatable
aircraft components such as evacuation slides, rafts, and
helicopter floats in accordance with OEM specifications and written
procedures. Read and interpret technical data, manuals, and
drawings to determine specifications and ensure compliance with
standards. Measure and verify components using templates, gauges,
or other measuring tools to confirm dimensions meet required
guidelines. Perform manual tasks including lifting, pulling,
pushing, and tugging to properly repackage inflatable components
using approved tooling and methods. Collaborate with inspectors to
ensure all parts and components are airworthy prior to packing.
Complete all required documentation accurately for each work task
in accordance with established procedures. Follow all safety
policies and maintain a clean, organized work area. Maintain
productivity standards and support team members to meet department
goals. JOB REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent. Ability
to read, write, and speak English fluently. Basic math skills and
ability to read and interpret tape measures and technical drawings.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Capable of
standing for long periods and frequently bending, stooping,
squatting, pushing, and pulling. Able to lift and carry up to 50
lbs. Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented
environment. Previous experience in a shop or production
environment preferred. Must pass all required pre-employment
screenings. In-house training provided.
