professionals are available worldwide.Job SummaryResponsible for
the sales of L.B. Foster products in Latin America. This consists
of directly calling on, selling to, and creating strategies to meet
or exceed the company annual operating plan. This position is open
to remote locations located in or near cities with easy access to
International Airports.Essential FunctionsWork with established
accounts and seek new opportunities with prospective customers and
agents to increase salesAbility to work as a solutions provider to
LB Foster's customers. Which includes specifying LB Foster's
products into design build projects/transit agency specifications
and delivering highly competent technical presentations on all LB
Foster's product linesInteracting with all levels of customer
organizations to ensure LB Foster has the most competitive and
advantageous opportunities to conduct business. This includes
identifying key contacts within customer organizations to gain
understanding of products, applications, and operations for each
customer.Searching for new clients who might benefit from company
benefits or services.Drive the bidding process to agencies either
directly or through contractors and work with the Project Managers
and Regional Sales Offices to ensure technical understanding and
competitive positioning.Contact regular and prospective customers
to recommend and demonstrate products and explain product
featuresManage business activities such as accounts receivables,
travel & entertainment within a defined territoryAssist with the
implementation strategic market plans while generating maximum
sales & gross profit for the district sales office.Assist in
creating strategies that meet or exceed on a consistent basis the
annual operating and rolling strategic plansAnswer customer
questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and
credit termsEstimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms,
warranties, and delivery datesDevelop, utilize, and share market
intelligenceDevelop sales forecasts for responsible regions in
conjunction with LB Foster Product Teams and Sales
ManagementAttending and/or participating in trade shows,
conferences, and other marketing eventsExperience, Education, &
License Requirements* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or
a related field* Minimum of 6 years of sales experience or combined
industry/sales experienceSkills & Abilities* Must be fluent in
Spanish; both oral and written* Outside field work will be
necessary from time to time, as well as overnight travel on average
of 50% of the time,* Customer entertainment and trade show
attendance is required when and where necessaryCompetencies*
