Job Description:
Karya Property Management is looking to hire a team of multiple
full time Tub Resurface Techs/Painters for our corporate
Maintenance team. This role will be a multi-site role and will
travel among our properties to perform Make Ready duties including
painting, resurfacing tubs, fixing cracks, etc. at the properties
that are needing extra help.Pay will be depending on experience and
begin at $20+ per hour. Schedule will be 40 hours a week AND may
require travelling to our properties in the Austin, San Antonio,
Dallas, and possibly Laredo area. Responsibilities* Ispecting units
recently vacated and prepare make-ready process by assisting with
painting, dry wall, carpet cleaning, resurfacing, tub glazing and
other duties as required. * Inspecting the apartments sprinkler
systems, light bulbs, electrical, as well as maintain all outdoor
grounds areas, including pool area, to ensure everything is in a
safe and attractive condition.* Review assigned work orders for
accuracy.* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure quality
assurance.* Refinish a series of surfaces including but not limited
to bathtubs, tile walls, tile floors, kitchen countertops, and
cabinets.* Perform extensive repairs to the substrate to remove
cracks, rust, chips, and other imperfections.* Manage inventory of
materials and equipment provided.Requirements* 3+ years of previous
experience in make ready maintenance* Previous experience with
painting apartment units, tub glazing, resurfacing, etc. * Working
knowledge of building maintenance* Ability to communicate orally
and written in a clear fashion* Skilled in operation maintenance
tools in a safe manner* Ability to handle physical workload up to
50lbs* Ability to work every other weekend as needed* Deadline and
detail-oriented* Valid Driver's License* Spanish proficiency
preferred but not required* HVAC, CPO, and EPA Certifications
preferred but not required at all propertiesBenefitsSalary range
