Turnaround Planner - SAP required Experience and Qualifications:
3 to 5 years experience in mechanical planning required. Rotating
equipment and I/E planning experience desired. 5 years planning
utilizing SAP required. Candidate must be able to plan and order
material using SAP modules. Intermediate level Microsoft Excel
experience required. Candidate will need to be able to minimally
create basic formulas, filter, auto format, link spreadsheets, and
insert pictures with text boxes. Beginning level Microsoft Word
experience required. Specific Job Duties A. Pre Turnaround 1.
Review and modify any pertinent plans from previous turnaround. 2.
Verify all information is accurate before distribution. 3. Scan SAP
work order system for Turnaround and Pit Stop revision codes. 4.
Develop and maintain work order list. 5. Analyze work on pre
turnaround work list a. Read through for completeness. Work with
operations or Turnaround Management Team on items found that need
to be added or deleted. b. Review work list / work orders with
appropriate parties to ensure that the work list / work orders are
complete and the scope clearly documented. c. Perform field
verification on all jobs to verify scope is complete. d. Field
verify materials and resources required. Field tag all jobs. e.
Complete job steps logic on each item. f. Utilize Critical Path
Method for planning activities. g. Planning sheet will include
manpower loading, equipment, tools, materials cost, permit
requirements, safety, and blinding. Follow up with planning check
list to ensure no steps have been left off. h. Ensure all
inspection requirements are resourced. i. Red line P ID drawings
when discrepancies are found and work with maintenance engineer to
correct documents. 6. Work closely with the Material Coordinator to
ensure the purchase and delivery of these materials meet the TA
milestones. 7. Review / follow up planning requirement needs with
Projects Controls and TA Coordinator. 8. Utilize the United Rental
Software System and emails to order and track all rental equipment.
9. Create and mark up plot plans depicting all planned work. 10.
Attend turnaround planning team meetings and present planning and
pre turnaround status concerns. Take meeting minutes and maintain
an action items list. 11. Attend sub contractor meetings as
required. 12. Work with Turnaround Coordinator to develop: a.
Pre-turnaround activities b. Cost estimate c. Lift plans d.
Logistics 13. Work with Turnaround Coordinator and Scheduler on
scheduling logic ties including capital project ties. 14. Develop
and assemble work scope book with the proper standard package by :
a. Dow resources b. General Contractor resources c. Specialty
Contractors d. Fabrication 15. Work with Dow Supervisors, General
Foreman / Foreman s on pre turnaround work logic, locations and
schedule compliance. 16. Schedule, Audit, and monitor
pre-turnaround work. 17. Assist the T/A Coordinator and General
Contractor superintendent with the turnaround equipment
requirements. 18. Develop coordinate all pre-turnaround
mobilization activities. Ensure that the activities are input into
the turnaround schedule. Update Scheduler on completion status. 19.
Develop personal milestones / goals and follow up written . Update
TA Coordinator as required. 20. Attend safety meetings and assist
safety department with safety audits. 21. Define and write field
requisitions for outside vendors for purchase orders. Maintain a
purchase order list. 22. Identify equipment that will require
outside repairs control valves, relief valves, pumps, exchangers a.
Enter SAP requisitions and obtain PO from SD Buyer b. Fill out
shipping memo properly. c. Ensure that the equipment has been
decontaminated d. Fill out chemical service sheet MSDS sheets if
required 23. Develop and monitor waste water and air emissions with
