Are you interested in a business that is innovating B2B procurement and supply chain? Do you have the business savvy, technical background, and enterprise sales leadership skills necessary to help Amazon Business and its Healthcare team? Amazon Business is seeking a Specialized Sales Customer Advisor to help Enterprise customers shape and adopt our new programs.

The Amazon Business (AB) team is dedicated to developing solutions that revolutionize how Healthcare customers manage their supply chain. AB is seeking an experienced Customer Advisor (CA) for our Specialized Sales Team. The CA will develop and manage a pipeline of high value opportunities for customers to adopt new AB programs.

The CA will engage with customers through 2 routes to market: the AB Field Sales team and Marketing. You will have the opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build product specific programs across ABs' largest Healthcare customers. You will be responsible for the product sales motion for Enterprise and Large Enterprise accounts, which includes; identifying key customers, stakeholders (e.g. Sourcing, Facilities, and Sales) & opportunities, qualifying & building pipeline, driving product discussions with customers, and responsibility for the overall sales cycle. By establishing and growing business relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving OPS growth and overall end customer adoption of committed spend, bulk orders, and distribution solutions across the AB Enterprise and Large Enterprise Healthcare Segment.

The ideal candidate will possess a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, deep experience with selling product solution sets and overachieving a revenue quota, as well as a sales background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers, partners, and the AB field teams. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of direct/matrix sales, business development, or B2B go-to-market management experience
  • Deep knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions
  • Success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale purchasing contracts or software agreements.
  • Track record of building rapport with senior customer executives (e.g. CEO, CIO, CPO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts
  • Ability to travel for business presentations and customer meetings (up to 50%)
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required

This position can be remote, but candidates must be based near an Amazon office location (e.g. Seattle, NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, D.C Metro, Irvine, Santa Monica, San Diego)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners. You've not only carried quotas, you've consistently exceeded them by doing the right thing for your customer
  • Healthcare procurement and supply chain sales experience
  • Motivated self-starter, proactive, and action-oriented
  • Strategic problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences (both verbal and written)
  • Extensive customer network
