The Department of Chemistry is currently seeking adjunct faculty
who are passionate about teaching and student learning in a
Christian work environment. The College offers both daytime and
evening adjunct opportunities.
Job status- Exempt
Reports to the Dean of the College of Science and
Applicants should have a minimum of a masters degree in
chemistry with at least 18 graduate semester hours in chemistry. A
completed doctorate in chemistry and a demonstrated record of
quality teaching is preferred. We are currently seeking faculty who
can teach introductory chemistry lecture and laboratories and
general chemistry lectures and laboratories.
The University is in the process of implementing its Ten Pillars
vision (Hbu.edu/vision) and anticipates significant growth in
enrollment and programs. The successful candidate will also be able
to articulate a vision for the role of his or her discipline at HBU
that is supportive of the Ten Pillars vision statement.
