TE Connectivity's Assembly
Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure
component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure
quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups
according to production schedule, perform quality checks according
to established processes and document the results as required by
our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for
maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well
as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and
- Sets up and adjusts
complex automatic or semi-automatic machines that perform cut-off,
insertion, crimping, or forming of material to produce a completed
- Responsible for ensuring
continuous operations by performing readjustments, fixing jams and
- Performs in-process
quality inspection and testing using but not limited to comparator,
micrometers, dial calipers, microscopes, rulers and
- Maintain, troubleshoot,
and repair mechanical and electrical components on manufacturing
machinery, replacing parts as needed.
- Responsible for in-process
and final inspection of terminals to ensure that QIP specifications
are met and that product is processed to print
- Responsible for performing
routine Preventative Maintenance on machines.
- Responsible for preparing
finished parts to be taken by Material Handling.
- Ability to run multiple
machines at the same time.
- Assist in training other
associates on an as needed basis.
- Flexibility to respond to
What your background should look
- 1 year manufacturing
- Experience with
manufacturing machine set-up.
- Working knowledge of hand
tools and print reading.
- Will work overtime to
support production goals as needed
- A safety/quality conscious
attitude working in a team environment. Prior knowledge of
RBY-FASTON machines is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP is
preferred but not required.
- Must be able to
lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to
extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent
holding and grasping with hands.
- Frequent standing and
walking is required in this job.
