In this role you will be ensuring all buildings meet Enbridge safety, environmental and facility standards.Here's what you will do:Mentor, develop and manage performance of all direct reports and oversee the development and performance of team.Build strong relationships with operational management as partner supporting business requirements.Provide 24/7 on-call response for all issues and emergencies affecting facilities operations.Coordinate and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for: people, security, buildings, office moves and properties.Develop and bring forth best practices and solutions continually improving processes.Liaise with other team members to continually improve collaborative standards. Including aligning procedures and processes where possible.Continually assess and adjust the operations structure and model to ensure efficient service.Ensure compliance with corporate governance and safety requirements.Assign job/project responsibilities and provide leadership and coaching.Provide guidance or issue resolution support as the need arises.Ensure building security measures are up to date.Manage relationships with all landlords, vendors, contractors and service providers. -Negotiate, procure and manage service and consulting agreements with all workplace service providers.Clear understanding of Business Resumption Plan and team's role in executing the plan for Houston locations.Invoice approval and coding.Support Manager of Workplace Solutions to manage relationships with landlord(s) and contractors.Oversee the lease payment execution working with direction from Govern team.Perform ad hoc duties as required by Manager Workplace Services.Accountable for ad hoc enterprise-wide initiatives which will be assigned by Manager Workplace services (ie reprographics).Who you are:You have:Bachelor's degree in related field (B-Comm, Finance, Bus. Admin.) and 7+ years of related experience.OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.Strong accounting and financial knowledge.Operating and project budgeting experience.Strong knowledge of distributed printer management and print vendor relationship management.Knowledge of Enbridge and or facilities management experience.Strong mentoring skills with previous supervisory experience.Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with excellent communication.Strong analytical skills and the ability to make quick concise decisions.A valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.Working Conditions:Typical office environment. - -Inclement weather - strategic direction to staff and vendors to deal with inclement weather.Fast paced office environment with multiple, concurrent activities and projects.Some duties outside of traditional business hours.Periodic travel to other Enbridge and supplier locationsPhysical Requirements include but are not limited to:Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.Diversity and inclusion are important to us.
