opportunities.As an Account Executive within the Platform team,
your focus will be on the custom enterprise business application
development and security. The Platform Account Executive will
formulate and execute a Platform (
http://www.salesforce.com/platform/overview/ ) sales strategy
within their specific market segment, drive revenue growth by
driving demand in the current customer base, and develop new
customers.Your ImpactYou will work closely with your customers as a
trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company
challenges and goals. You will consult with customers on the
Salesforce Platform to evangelize solutions that will help them
reach their business goals and blaze new trails within their
organizations.You will work in partnership with the existing
Account owners and will carry quota for the Platform product sales.
As a trusted adviser and coach, you are the person with the
expertise in Business and Technology Architecture that can match
customer needs to the capabilities of the Salesforce Platform
including: Apps, Heroku, Communities, Integration and Security. You
will articulate the business value of the solutions through
executive level time to value, ROI and TCO presentations.As a
valued member of our Ohana, you will contribute to our business
growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere.Your
QualificationsMinimum 10 years of solution selling in
softwareExtensive experience selling to large enterprise
customersDomain expertise in App developmentExpertise in mobility
and digital strategyExpertise and experience dealing with large,
complicated, political accounts at the most senior IT and business
levelsExecutive-level communication and interpersonal skillsAbility
to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under
pressureWorking knowledge of the software development process and
of software design methodologies (coding experience is not
required, but is useful)Proven ability to work well as part of an
extended sales teamExtensive background in technology and platform
solutions such as application development, database, business
intelligence, integration, internetExperience developing and
presenting business value, time to money, ROI, TCODemonstrated
experience in security and application development. You must be
comfortable and capable of engaging the IT Security areas and from
an App Developer to the CIODesired Skills:Knowledge of Salesforce
product and platform features, capabilities and best useExpertise
in IT, Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Technical
Architecture, SecurityExperience and knowledge of Salesforce's
competitive landscape and technical ecosystemExperience with
project portfolio planning and prioritizationStrong knowledge of
business processes, applications and app developmentFamiliarity
with the database, application, mobile and collaboration
technologies used in Cloud Computing (e.g. knowledge of database
concepts and SQL, multi-tenancy)Salesforce product certifications
are a plus (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Developer,
