Job Description:

Registered Nurse (RN) -needed for a per-diem -contract -opportunity with Yoh's -occupational health client located in Deer Park, TX. This clinic offers Occupational, Primary, and Preventative Care to the employees that are onsite. This job is only to cover on an as-needed basis for when their full-time staff cannot work. Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Texas
• Minimum of three (3) -years' experience as a Registered Nurse
• Preferred experience in: Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Room, Urgent Care, and/or Family Medicine type setting
• Recent clinical experience and good computer skills What You'll Be Doing:
  • Triage and provide nursing services or arrange for higher level of care to employees who become ill or suffer a workplace injury
  • Evaluation, treatment, case management, and referrals for both non-occupational and occupational illnesses and injuries
  • Perform audiograms, phlebotomy, drug testing, pulmonary function tests, glucose monitoring, and cholesterol screening
  • Perform comprehensive wellness exams including patient education
  • Perform return-to-work, fitness-for-duty exams, and assessments that may include telehealth consultations
  • Provide emergency medical care including first-aid and triage for additional evaluation or referral What You Need to Bring to the Table:
    • Must be able to work on an as-needed basis between Monday and Friday.
      • Shifts: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 2:30pm and every other Friday, 5:30am - 2:00pm
      • Dates needed so far: - -July 5th to 15th, August 8th to August 12th, and some in September (plus orientation days to be scheduled ASAP)
      • BLS certified
      • Excellent interpersonal skills
      • Valid driver's license in order to be able to drive on the property. What's In It For You?
