Job Description:

We are hiring friendly and outgoing customer support associates for our Independent Insurance Agency.

*Job Duties, *include but not limited to:

* Assist customers with various types of insurance needs ex. automobile, flood, home, and possibly other insurance types not specified.
* Communicate with clients to understand their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the property to be insured, and discuss any existing insurance coverage.
* Calculate premiums and establish payment method and process payments for any renewals, mid-term payment plans, new business.
* Help process claims and assist customer with communication of insurance claims to ensure quality customer service.
* Reach out to policyholders daily to follow up on various matters such as, claims, payments, endorsements, mortgagee clause updates for renewal.
* Perform administrative tasks, such as organizing and completing paperwork, filing, maintaining records and handling policy renewals daily.
* Handle difficult issues/customers effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrate intermediate to advanced written communication skills (spelling, grammar, and punctuation) and verbal communications skills daily with new and current customers.
* Assist with daily housekeeping routines which include but are not limited to: turning on lights and signs, making coffee, ensuring equipment and computers are ready for work, and customer areas (tables, floors) are free of dirt, dust and other debris. Daily housekeeping of the break room and rest rooms are required as well.
* Additional tasks assigned but not limited to list provided.

*Requirements*

* High School Diploma or GED
* License not required (We will train and sponsor the right candidates!)
* Basic knowledge of Insurance Industry, is a plus
* Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred
* Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word.
* Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision.
* Ability to quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software is necessary.
* Bilingual-Spanish/Chinese/Vietnamese *(Required)*

* Base Salary starting at $16.00 - $18.00 / Hourly + Commissions/Bonus opportunities
